Anyone know where in central Texas I can grab one of these? I'm looking at making a pool for my kids without spending an arm and a leg, and that can be moved around later if we so choose.

Looked really just at TSC, and they only seem to have ones that are 2' tall. I'd like it to be 6-10' wide, too. Just not sure where else besides Tractor Supply I could find one of that size. Any help would be appreciated.

You're probably not going to find a stock tank that has 4' tall sides on it. The reason being that with sides that tall, nothing could drink out of it except a giraffe or elephant.

Just buy an inflatable pool. Stagnant water will get nasty in a hurry. You need to circulate it and use chlorine.

2' is about as tall as you'll find. Get one of those floating chlorine thingies and a $75 Home Depot pump for circulation.

Intex pool with a filtration system will be cheaper.

Also, that thing will get really hot.

I intend to hook up a pump to it and treat the water anyway. Problem is we have a big family, and I'm about 6' tall. I'd like to get more than about knee deep in it. Lol.

We have a boatload of shade trees in the yard, so I'm not TOO concerned with it getting really hot. We live near lake Belton, and have a stupid amount of limestone rock in the soil. Don't want to spend a mint digging into it if at all avoidable.

Will look at the intex pools, though.

Why not fiberglass? Try Red Ewald in Kennedy.

Honestly, if a guy can't get out of a 4' tall tank, he probably has larger problems in life. LOL.
