Trying to decide on a new Mule Pro or Ranger 570 full size. Does anyone have a Kawasaki dealer recommendation? I am in Austin, but don't mind driving if it's worth it.

We got our Mule Pro FXT from Central Texas Power Sports in Georgetown. They were a little high, but price matched another dealer.

They also sell Polaris so you can test drive both and compare.

How are you liking the Mule? I am finally replacing an '85 Kawasaki 4Wheeler that still runs like a champ.

I have owned 5 different brands of side by side ATV's, and the best by far was the Kawasaki. The worst by far was the Polaris.

I've had both and I prefer the Polaris over the Mule. As it just feels more comfortable to me and I'm able to get around my west Texas lease a lot faster than a Mule will take you.

This is a different Mule. I think it tops out around 45. I know the Ranger can go faster, but that is plenty fast for me.

The new Mules are great. The suspension is a lot better and it goes faster but not the crazy 70 mph that the Polaris does.

The one I rode in though jerks really hard when it hits the max speed. Besides that, it is great.

Really like it.
Gets around fast enough for me. Have hit 48 or so with 5 people in it. Wouldn't need much faster than that.
We can load a full pallet in the back. Suspension is great. Much better than years past, may not be as plush as the Polaris, but it's close.

I thought the ability to slide from 2 row seats to 1 row was a gimmick at first, but we use it a ton.

It is a bit of a pain to haul since it weighs so damn much, but it isn't terrible.

If I could just keep the rats from chewing my spark plug cables...

sounds like kawasaki has made some much needed improvements. 15 years ago the mule was notorious for transmission trouble.

I prefer the mule over the others......if I need to do 70, I will hop in the truck.

My dad has always preached about taking care of things, (part of the reason we still have an '85 4-wheeler and an '01 Mule) and if I really thought about all the junker rangers I have been in, the common factor of all of them was they belonged to people that never checked fluid levels or did any kind of routine maintenance.

I finally got around to driving the Mule today. I thought it was pretty darn nice. Heck, for 13K it should be. It was much bigger than I was expecting. The ride was great and it was very quiet. I could definitely see using the rear seat conversion. I will report back when I have one back at the house.

I got our '15 Mule Pro at K&P Motorsports in Marble Falls. Great folks! "K&P" stands for Kawasaki and Polaris so you can compare pretty easily.

We are tickled pink with the mule pro. Smooth, easy for the kids to drive, big bed...we love it. Hard for me to pry it away from the wife and daughter though.
