Are companies filling out boilerplate forms for deals they aren't even a part of?

That seems weird.

I emailed Chris Bass a couple questions about our trust and a little trust related advice at about 9:45 last night. I got answers within twenty minutes. Is that service you can get from the retailers or form making programs?

I used the Silencer Shop in Austin. Good guys and damn easy. They do everything for you. Hoping mine are out of jail in time for christmas

The guy that started Silencer shop lives a few doors down from me. Nice person. Great service.

Preparing a trust for another is absolutely the practice of law. Just as preparing a will for a person is the practice of law.
Umm actually that is not necessarily the case.

As I lawyer, I'll still be going through Erik for my trust.

Pretty self explanatory. But what I will add is that while a trust certainly does not have to be set up by a lawyer I would certainly recommend you use one. NFA trust is pretty damn simple so pretty much any competent attorney should be able to draw one up that will be just fine. However if you are forming a trust (money) please choose an attorney that specializes in trust/ probate work.

AGR in Houston will do it for free if you buy a can from them. Pick your can out, then write a check for $200 and have a $1 bill for the trust.

I am waiting on a stamp using these guys. Easy to work with and yes they are free.

Has the ATF ever declared a Gun Trust invalid before the trust was involved in a violation.

Yes.

Several years ago, ATF began having attorneys review all trusts that were submitted. They actually invalidated multiple trusts that already owned NFA items, but they allowed the trusts to be corrected with no legal action being taken.

Say what? Preparing a trust for anyone that isn't you is absolutely practicing law.
