Usually milder and dryer winter for Texas but it is supposed to be a weaker La Niña. Also, you can still get decent shots of cold air. 2021 was a La Niña winter and that was the year of icepocalypse.

SE TX needs it - according to neighbors weather station, it was Sept 11 since we saw a drop.

Oh we are. But he is from Jersey and despite having moved here to "escape California" doesn't seem to understand wildfire dangers.

Strange guy. Take what I am sure everyone as imagining when I say "Jersey" and then add trying to "fit in" to Texas by being over the top at times. So too many gold chains with fancy boots but is yard became a jungle because he didn't realize the maintenace the property he bought involved.

And to clarify - I should have said brush piles (not prescribed burn). But still - it is a neighboorhood of 1/2 to 3+ acres plots, so any ashes are likely being blown onto the neighbor's properties.
