3.1" so far in Woodway (Waco) according to the nearest Weather Underground station. That puts us at 9.6" over the last 20 days.

Last year, we didn't reach 9.6" of rain for the year until we had a heavy rain in August.

We were ok until today. We have reached saturation and have standing water everywhere. Friends places in palacios have a good 4" of water across their shop floor

Official report is 9" for him yesterday. This is west of Palacios close to Jackson county line. Storm hit Victoria county and then dropped down and hugged the water and flooded them.

The Frio hasn't raged in years and I would welcome this with open arms and a fast tube!

Sure hope this is right. The fish in Choke Canyon would love to have a drink of water.

No offense, Uvalde and Hondo friends, but 7-9 inches in the Nueces and Frio watersheds would be a godsend for a pair of lakes that desperately need water.

No offense taken. We're desperately dry west of San Antonio. Would love to have some soil moisture in the pastures and float the dock at Medina Lake (currently 5% capacity). Bring it on!

Same for Lake Travis. 43 ft low and so far all this rain has only added ~0.3 ft - rain bullseye needs to be a little higher. Still desperately dry at our place in Kimble Co. We're in the donut hole..

I was living in Marble Falls in 2018 and the Llano and Colorado rivers flooded and took Lake Teavis from79% full to 140% full in 2 days

Floating the river in Canyon Lake next Friday. This might make it interesting! Although if the lake is super low, hopefully they won't need to open the dam.

Will likely have roads washed out on hills but our place near that bullseye needs the rain. Hopeful.

Here I sit disappointed again. Maybe the next two days will deliver. Amazing when models show 9" all around and we are lucky to scrape out with 1-2".

2" overnight in Gillespie County. We were projected to have more but am extremely thankful for what we were blessed with here. Praying for everyone that is in dire need of precipitation.

Boerne area, no rain gauge but ponding in the yard with the overnight storm has all been absorbed - there are no puddles anywhere in the yard. Amazing how dry it has been.

2" in New Braunfels. The hail is what woke me up but it was small and didn't last long.

Medina last filled what, about 5 years ago or so?
When was the last time the Frio or the Sabinal flowed south of 90? I don't think I've seen it since I've been paying attention.

Big ol swing and a miss by the weather dudes. All this moisture is training much much further east. In an area of the state with no drought.

Looks like the drought continues.

I'll believe it when I see it. Forecast was for majority of rain fall to happen Fri PM - Sat PM. At this current rate, this is a central TX rain event. Not a hill country and westward event as predicted.
