You guys were at least getting the normal afternoon heat showers here and there. North Central got to watch those storms go around us on the each side, but normally east side of town.

Amazing what a little rain can do, it was getting people down seeing all the burnt brown grass everywhere... this rain is great, just need it to spread it around the state some more

Need it to drench the west and pan handle over the next 7 days like predicted. It would go a long way to recharging key body of waters.

Same here in Atascosa County. I am convinced it will nver rain again. It is almost depressing to watch big storms go around us. Really need this storm in the gulf to send some big moisture our way, I am not holding my breath.

Finally got 0.4" yesterday and another 0.5" today west of Washington. Navasota has been getting a lot more. Hoping the grass starts up again.

I'm saying this in hopes I'm proven wrong in 12 hours.

It ain't happening. We can't have nice things. All week DFW has been promised wide spread rain good for 2"-3". What was supposed to kick-off around midnight is now pushed back to late afternoon and the probability has gone from 88% to 40% and the rest of the week is falling too. Once again we'll have to hear about the big dome of high pressure or thermal cap that kept the rains up in sooner country. This is worst than a GiddingsAg Go'n Live tease. At least we get to see dead dillos. all we'll see is yella grass for a few more months.

0.74" this morning in Moore County, TX. We needed it in the worse way. Also nice to get a good slow rain when one of our pivots safetied out yesterday evening. This buys us time to get it repaired!

We are growing soybeans and milo. Milo is close. Beans are still 30 days or so.

Lots of corn up in Kansas being cut for silage. With caps on water there they ran out of allocation so they cut for silage.

Went to check on my trees between tilden and three rivers and you could hardly tell it rained almost 3"....sure could use a little more but very thankful for what we got.

Put the boat in just to go check out the river and while it was chocolate colored, it had not come up much. There was water flowing under the bridge in tilden but talking to the game warden he said the river was still dry behind their camp over near daughtry boat ramp. Guess there are lots of dry holes to fill up between those 2 points.

Not a drop in the Waco area yet for this system.

However, I am grateful for the inch of rain we received in each of the previous 2 weeks.

It's been coming down for the last 30 minutes in Irving near 635 and Belt Line. My buddy that works at Four Seasons said it rained 7in out there in the last 24 hours.

Anyone know if Brady has gotten any?

East of Dallas and we just lost our driveway due to torrential downpour and heavy heavy runoff and I've spent the last hour on the tractor putting dirt around our house. We are flooding here. Getting scary. Prayers appreciated.

We have missed everything all summer until starting yesterday, Went from zero to over 6" so far. We're 30 minutes east if Dallas. Fortunately we are on a small hill and have no danger of flooding.

We are probably close to you. But not on a hill unfortunately. The driveway giving out may be a blessing in disguise. Water has dropped from the house some since it washed out. Thanks for the prayers and everyone stay safe.
