From 8/12 thru 8/15, I had a total of 8" in CC.
We had about 1.5 in Loma Vista area of Zavala County by 10:00 a.m. yesterday morning. It was still raining when I left.
35 inches since Jan 1 in Atlanta. Wish I could give some of it to you. I'm sick of it. It's supposed to rain every afternoon this week.
2" of MUCH needed rain! Hope things green up a little bit.

Friends place south of Freer got 12.1 inches in two days. Feast or famine.

But storm rolled through my area a little bit ago. 1.5" of rain, pea sized hail, and widespread power outages. Saw on the Twitter that some had larger and much more hail in other parts of my area n

Drought officially over at my house. We've had two weeks of great rain. Nice to be able to turn off the sprinkler system
Only the second rain we've had since early summer. Drought is far from over for me.
People will pick up some free pecan wood.
I was busy earlier with the tractor and box blade dragging a couple inches of dirt/silt from one of my almost dried-up ponds. Hope it has a chance to catch some runoff.

Not sure how much rain but the Clear Lake area has had 10-12 days of rain showers almost every day.. it's plush green around there again, similar to the Houston area, but Houston hasn't had quite as much, our business grass near I10 west I has greened up and needs mowing
Tomball has NOT received such rain. The storms the last few weeks hit the downtown and their 5G networks ( /s ) and break up before moving north.

In....finally getting some, but nothing at the farm. Headed that way later to see the new xeriscape.
Almost an inch in NE Brazos County. That's over an inch and a half over the last week. Maybe things will start to green up. So far, still varying shades of brown.
According to spacecityweather.com, 4 to 8 inches of rain is expected across central Texas next week.
Just hope it comes true. Our drought is now over on the NE side of Houston. 3 inches last week and three more yesterday and today.
