Have to do something to take off the edge up the upcoming repairs. When we got hit by hail in 2015 it caused over $30k in damage, with current pricing I wouldn't even want to think about it

Already getting insane in rice country. Need to cut hay and spray some malathion. May help make a dent in them.

Thank you Lord!! 1.5" in frio county yesterday and it's been raining all morning. Haven't ventured out to see how much more we got.

Edit - finally let up and just dumped another 1.5"!!

Does this mean the Frio will be good for floating the first week of June? I haven't even checked the river flow yet. Seems like the earlier the better most years.

were farther south where its just nasty catfishing water that being said I know that area got some decent rain too.......theres a few people that comment around there that will hopefully chime in and give us some reports.

Came over to the lake (McMullen county) and dumped 5" from the gauge. There was water over the road in 5 places so I'm sure we actually had more than that. New mower is going to have its work cut out for it once it dries out.

Hail and street flooding in Canyon tonight. It's always fun to check the steam flow gages after an event like this. The one below the state park bounced from 1 CFS to 3000 in a few hours from yesterday's rain. Expect even more tonight into tomorrow

Louise had a total of 11-12" by yesterday evening. I was hearing totals of close to 12" in Ganado by yesterday evening as well.

All 3 branches of Mustang Creek are going to have Lake Texana full for Memorial Day weekend camping!

Glad I don't have any cotton.

3.5" since 8pm in Victoria. My cotton crops are absolutely done. Don't see how they can come back. We are less than 2 hours in on a 27 hour event. Max forecast over whole timeframe was 6.2". We might be breaking records tonight

Those guys have been calling what a lot of y'all are seeing. They certainly couldn't say where exactly would get hit but they've been warning of rainfall rates like you're seeing up and down the coast
