Victoria and Houston finna get it. The models have shifted Northeast with each new run.

WOW.
That model is WAY higher than anything I've seen.
That's a huge swing on that model run.
Let's see if any others support it before we get too excited.

Bring it on. We need it in South Texas.

Not much more in Brazos, but tomorrow looks like our best shot with more through the week.
We'll get ~1" maybe 2 when all said and done probably.

I'm hoping the forecast holds for my area of Seguin for this whole week

Guadeloupe, brazos, and Colorado bout to be real full. Luckily we have places for the water to go.we could use 3-4", but 10+ wouldn't be good but we could handle it. 20+ like that model forecasted would be really tough on the crops. Corn is ready to harvest, not sure what that much rain would do to it. Cotton would stress pretty bad but should manage, just may be all top crop.

Another shift puts the rain core between Victoria and Houston.

Haven't gotten much to speak of in Brazoria county yet. A couple of quick showers over the weekend, it's drizzling raining now though.

At least the scattered showers were strategic and helped put out a grass fire that was going on Sunday. I would bet good money that fire was started by some POS redneck flipping a cigarette butt out the window.

Looking out the office window here in CC, looks like the skies should open up any moment.

I know the feeling CBR.

My Dad and I haven't had a good nights sleep in 2-3 days watching these models.

5 floods in 4 years is enough for a lifetime on the Brazos.

Hope it's a good rain for you and no more hardship.

Add to it this rain will likely wipe out a decent grain crop if the models are remotely correct.

My mother says that the Uvalde newspaper has recorded only 2.5" in the city limits for the year.

I don't doubt that. We had about 4.5" (near Concan) in May but not much besides that. Most of the rain has been spotty and some areas get 1" and others nothing.

Light drizzle, if anything all day her in Austin.

But just now it started pouring and blowing so hard that the power went out at the steakhouse I'm currently at. Then 5 min later it was gone.

Plenty of moisture here, you need gills to breathe but still little actual rain.
Diddly in Brazos again today. 1/2 inch total thus far with the weekend.
I'll have the irrigation back on by the end of the week at this rate.

I did my part for around here. I let the sprinklers run last night. That always triggers rain

Tomorrow is supposed to be the biggest day for rain, we'll see what happens then. Most of this is the fact that the last 10 or so years have seen weathercasting on the news gravitate towards WWE style hype. It gets eyeballs on TV's, that pays the bills.

Sunday was, and then today, now they are saying tomorrow. They don't have a GD clue.

I was supposed to fly Saturday on a B17 with dad for father's day. Had to break the surprise to work out the reschedule. Saturday was gorgeous.

I guess it's just the disorganization of this system. None of the models can put it together.

Oh and speaking of Beaumont... a coworker was talking today about Port A getting hammered. Silly tech grad talking about port Arthur.
