Just drove through this storm from Houston to ft worth. Was not good....the storm is just sitting still and dumping some very heavy rain. Already some flooding on 287. Not gonna be pretty when the sun comes up.

Somerville geting really close to going over the spillway (elevation 258'). Gates are currently closed, so this would eventually add to the Brazos level if it starts going over...

Huge flood plain on the upper end of it. Miles of bottom land flats that are usually dry are 15ft+ under water right now.

This. It is in a fairly flat area, so every foot about normal elevation causes it to spread out quite a bit.

1 3/4" in Bandera last night. River should be awesome this weekend if we don't get any more rain. Where we live at privelege creek and the medina River, the water is flowing beautifully and all the weeds/silt crap has washed down leaving clear water and clear beaches!

Hardwood bottom land mostly. All of the WMAs and State Parks are back up that way mostly.

It looks to be about to spill. The most recent gage reading is 257.69' and the spillway crest is 258'.
