It started raining at our place in Stephens county around 2:30... And accumulated over 3 inches. Crazy. Gotten almost 5 inches today so far.

If y'all love weather these little personal weather stations are pretty cool, and you can check them remotely.

There's still a day or so to go, but thus far we've had maybe 1" as opposed to the projected 5". Models seem about right through the I35 corridor, but the Aggie Dome appears to be winning the day.

NWS just updated their flash flood warning for Victoria saying 8" is possible by Tuesday evening. We have only had .17" so far.

Tried to go to work this morning around 4 a.m., no go. My subdivision off 290 and Eldridge is flooded. Been here 33 years and never saw the water this high, even after Ike. It's 1/3 was up my driveway. I don't need/have a rain gauge to tell me it has rained more than usual. I know we need the rain but jeesum!
