Finally getting some rain here.

Wife said she heard a tornado touch down outside of Brazoria an hour or so ago. Some video of a funnel cloud that danced on the ground for a few seconds in Pearland is on facebook as well.

Wow, thanks. I drove through there Southbound on Friday. I got through just in time. I would have thought water would have receded faster. I heard Corsicana got dumped on in excess of 10 inches.

Corsicana got 18"+ yesterday and more today.

45 was fine this morning when I drove back to Houston. Passed through Corsicana around 10.

I was worried since I hit the mess in Friday not long after they shut it down.

Yep... good news is that this next system looks to be more progressive, limiting the amount of time it'll rain.

Bad news is it'll turn to runoff much more quickly with the saturated soils.
