I had 1.8" in Gatesville when I left for work this morning. I guess there will be more coming but we're far short from the 6"+ they predicted for this area yesterday afternoon.

not sure what the wind speed was, but i woke up a little after midnight to a rattling noise outside. Looked out the window and saw that the glass on our patio table had slid about a quarter of the way across the table and was bouncing up and down. Ended up bringing the glass top into the house to keep it from blowing off and breaking.

Never lost power in Dawson ranch here in belton. If we did I slept thru it. Actually slept thru my 430 alarm and had to go to the gym at 930. That sucked.

That rain has been just sitting over Victoria all day. I keep thinking it is going to move through Houston, but it just stays there.
59 was closed so we went 77 to Halletsville and then 90 to Altair. 77 new DeWitt county line was starting to go underwater at 3pm.

So I am sitting in the parking lot of my hotel on i10 in west San Antonio right now and it is absolutely pouring down rain. Huge rain drops. I had to stop and buy some razors so while I was in there I picked up a 32o Carta Blanca. Now I am sitting in my car in the parking lot drinking that beer with the lights and windshield wipers off. The underpass is starting to flood.

Just got to my house near the airport in SA. It was pretty hairy getting home. Worst I've ever seen personally. We have had six inches in about an hour. Hope it breaks soon.

Places around Montague got ~12". I dumped out 5+" (rain gauge stops at 5") this morning in Muenster.
