Don't have a pic of mine, but I'm running a RRA 14.5" barrel (flash hider pinned and welded, so non-NFA) topped with an Aimpoint PRO cowitnessed to flip-up BUIS. Aimpoint 3x magnifier and flip-to-side mount coming soon.

and the LR308 is a DPMS. Pretty much nothing is stock, though.

I built the 308 first, and liked it so much, while I was building the 556, I figured I'd stick with what I knew I
liked.

different barrel manufacturers:
308 is a Krieger
223 Wylde by Shilen
300 Black out by Noveske (the pistol)

I am building a colapsible stock lower, and after that, I'll probably start doing some different uppers to swap out for them.

I just ordered a 20" 6.8 upper from WOA, when I get it in I will have to update as I will be doing some changes.

Been thinking about getting the 556 for my 223/556 on order. I've read that some people are getting the 7.62 to run on both their 7.62 and 556.

Don't personally see any reason to purchase the 556. Silencer Shops testing showed the 762 with 556 endcap did better that the 556 can, think other people have replicated, cant remember.

ETA: pretty sure that's the 762 if I remember the gun being a 300blk correctly

In the market for my first but know nothing about these. how any of you purchased one complete vs building your own the first time around? Are there places you can go that will help you build one?

I would use it for hunting and taking to the range for fun. Maybe looking to spend $1000 on the gun itself.

Thanks RED! It's the Saker 7.62. You can run it on 5.56 as well. It's rated to 300 Win mag. My rifle is a 300 BLK.

BCM carbine has a lot of magpul furniture, Troy folding iron sights, and an EOTech.

Stag Model 6 with a magpul PRS stock, BCM large charging handle, rock river scope mount, and a Bushnell scope.

The BCM is great for hunting while walking around, she's killed quite a few pigs already.

Stag shoots like a dream, with the heavy bull barrel you don't feel recoil at all. Groups very well, right at MOA.

This is making me want to build another.

Another question about the 7.62 can on a 5.56 barrel (Accuracy).

Do you sacrifice any accuracy putting a can designed for another caliber on your rifle? As Meggy09 stated, real world data is showing the 7.62 can is performing better than the 5.56 in terms of actual sound suppression which seems like a no brainer since it is larger. However, I would not want to sacrifice any accuracy just to gain 5 or 6 dB.

Anyone know whether this is a concern or a non-issue?

Meggy09's right about the sound suppression of the 7.62 Saker on 5.56 rifles. I haven't seen any data regarding accuracy. I bought the 7.62 because I also have a 5.56 and figured I can use it on both.

Put the finishing touches on yesterday. Took me 6 months due to funds, piece by piece. Learned a lot during this process. Wanting a 6.8 and suppressed SBR now. Slippery Slope...
