With a little mud after the first hunt a few months back.

Rifles through the ages-

DDM4v1 back in 09:



Changed the barrel to a 14.5" lightweight mid gas and handguard to TRX-extreme 13":



Built a 16" upper with a centurion lightweight barrel and a leupold mk 4 1.5-5:



All those uppers have been sold, and after a recent scope purchase I'm rocking this:




18" rifle gas bcm 410SS barrel turned down to .675" behind the gas block, trx alpha 15" handguard, Bushnell elite 1-6.5x scope. It's been on one hunting trip with a different scope and did just fine. Going back I would've preferred my 16" upper with this optic, but I'm not going to bother switching again.

its good at killing things. its big brother on top is also really good at killing things.


i'm a big fan of the 6.8 cartridge. its not heavy in the field (i have a trijicon accupoint that goes with it). comfortable to shoot from a bench / blind or anything else.

suppressed i've been able to take multiple shots before the game even realizes what the hell is going on
