Ok, I went to buy the Winchester Christmas Eve and it sold before I got there, and they didn't have any at other local stores, so I unded up getting a 36 gun Cannon. So far so good, and it was A LOT easier to get in the house than what I was anticipating.

All we used was a furniture dolly, tipped it back to get over the front door threshold, and rolled right over the carpet in the living room all the way to our master closet. Once it was in the closet, we tipped it to one side got the dolly out from underneath and walked it and slid it on the carpet to its final resting spot. Even though that thing weights like 500 lbs, I can see how easy it would be to steal one if its not bolted to the slab!

I really liked the Cannon safe at Tractor Supply, but I had some Bass Pro bucks to spend. Moved it myself with a regular dolly and some ratchet straps. Needed a little lift/push from my son to help get it up a step and over the threshold. Will bolt it down myself once I verify that I won't be hitting any gas or water lines.

I haven't yet, my dewalt crapped out on me, and I have some Lowes gift cards that I need to use to buy me a new hammer drill. But as soon as I get my new drill yes I'll be doing it my self. I might be going to rent a Hilti drill in the meantime just to get it done.
