Well, Freese and Nichols has survived the drought.

Appreciate the pictures, very interesting to see how things have changed.
Yes sir, we are doing good. Its always neat to see pieces of texas history with my company's name attached to it.

I recently worked on the big spring, odessa and well field pump stations to help bring groundwater to Midland/Odessa. When we were working on that project, the CRMWD was projecting they would be out of surface water within 9 months if they didn't have a significant rain event. I am happy to see the surface water reservoirs recovering

Was out in that area last month. What a ****hole. The long term lake lot leases they gave out was a hell of a bad decision. Most of the structures are abandoned.

I have been following the dramatic rise in the lake levels at JB thomas, does anyone know if there are fish in the lake still. Just looking for somewhere to take my daughters for a day trip and it is closer than San Angelo and Allan Henry...thanks for any response!

I guess I need to take the trek from Seminole and check it out. This is awesome. I know the boat ramp hadn't seen water since before 2000.

CanyonAg,
What part of the lake was your cabin on. Our family cabin was on the south side. There was a small private observatory about 1/4 mile east of us.
By 1970 there was essentially no water in front of us, so my dad moved the cabin to Lake Coleman.

I'll look on the map when I get home. Far southwest on a side creek.

Edit: It was Wildcat Creek. Here's the Google Maps link
