I know the OP suggested that had they been thinking with more wisdom they would have never been in that situation. They either would have never have gone, or driven away when they saw him.

It's just remarkable to me that 4 different people fell for the same scheme when red flags should have been pretty obvious. It suggests to me that the motivation is the sale.

What the hell does that mean? You tell someone what they need to but and expect them to bring it.

You bring a buddy for cover. It all goes smooth or it doesn't. You don't know that beforehand.

I think he's suggesting that when the 4 different sellers happened upon the underage minority, they should have simply driven away.

Of course the motivation is the sale of the gun. That's why it was posted on guntrader to begin with. But how do you know someone is underage until you look at their ID?

Hell, I see people drinking in bars now and thing to myself, "How did those kids get served"? But then I realize the older I get, the younger "young adults" look to me.

self-preservation should be a consideration. foolish to die over a gun sale. Or to kill over a gun sale.

If responsibility to society is zero consideration, then how are you going to argue against universal background checks?

I'm pretty dang leery to begin with. Most probably wouldn't like working with me. Before anyone got out of a car, I've already shot a photo of the license plate, and any people I can see in said car (can't see, red flag and transaction is over) with my phone (which automatically uploads to photobucket). If they notice me shooting pictures and get pissy about is, transaction over. Any gun I may be selling is completely locked away until until I'm happy with IDs.
