water.weather.gov/precip/You can select last day, week, month, etc to get totals. Change the radio button to 'NWS WFOs' to zoom in to your local area. West Texas WFOs are:
Amarillo (AMA)
Lubbock (LUB)
Midland (MAF) - covers the Trans Pecos region
San Angelo (SJT) - covers Abilene
Austin/San Antonio (EWX) - Hill Country
Norman (OUN) - covers Wichita Falls area
Fort Worth (FWD) - covers Brownwood/Mineral Wells, etc.
It'll only have the rainfall totals through the previous day (radar estimated). Updates around noon or so with the previous day's info.
NWS Lubbock also publishes a table of climate data every morning that'll have some point totals:
