Howdy Ags. I recently a Benelli M2 (12 ga). It of course came with a set of Crio tubes. However, I’m curious to know if any of you can recommend an aftermarket choke tube for doves, or if you think I should just stick with the Crios that came with the gun? Thanks in advance.

Really depends on how long of shots you're going to be planning on taking.

I have an M2 12 Gauge and just use the Crio Modified or Improved. Most of the time Improved with a 1-1/8 Oz #7 1/2.

Check out Briley. I just went to their storefront in Houston. If you're not local, they have an easy to use website. Highly recommended.

Edit: your/you're. English is hard.

There is no reason to spend the money for aftermarket chokes with that shotgun. At least pattern the ones that came with the gun first. The benelli chokes should be just fine, and 1oz of 7-1/2 or 8s through a IC choke is plenty for doves.

If for some reason you really want to spend the money, Briley, Trulock, and Carlson all make good choke tubes.

I use the Briley Crio chokes in my M2 for dove, either IC or Mod depending on what I'm seeing. Briley also makes a Light Mod which is in between the two. I've been wanting one of those because I'm always trying to decide which to use. My friend sells Briley equipment at www.powerfactorshooting.com use code "shotgun" to get 10% off on Briley, give him a call if it doesn't work for some reason. He's got the best prices on Briley stuff I've found.
