Here I was thinking it was just the British version of zero (naught).

30-naught six or 30-aught six for us non limey buggers.

The .38 Special says Howdy! It's actually a .35...just like the .357.

Oh, and don't forget the 38-40. It's a .401!

WTF?! Mods up in here deleting crap randomly again with no explanation.
Yep. I guess it was because some idiot rookie off the Internet made a stupid post, and lots of us replied to him. He was removed, and I suspect any post that mentioned him was, too.

Second time this has happened to me this week. First one was a gif of Tony Soprano sitting in Dr. Melfii's office saying "Bingo" on Premium. This thread was a gif of Ron Swanson from Parks & Rec saying "What the Hell just happened?" after this thread was bumped. Not vulgar, not attacking, not trolling, I'm at a loss.

It's the off season.

Less to ban in the zoo.

So the sand in the vag builds up, and they have to find other random shiz to hit their ban quota.

"7mm-08" would translate to "7mm rifle designed in 1908."

The 308 Winchester was introduced in 1952. The 7mm-08 was the 308Win necked down to 7mm...creating the 7mm(bore)-08(308Win Cartridge).

That's interesting. I'd always understood that my grandpa's. 308, that I still hunt with, was the gun he bought after returning from WWII because he used and like it during that time. I guess if that was released in the early 50's it could have been Korean war instead, because he also served there. I will have to ask my uncle about that.
