Ill have a few days off soon (oil field), and will be in Galveston with the SO. Any good guide recommendations? Fish biting right now?

None that won't charge you an arm and a leg. Some days you catch a ton, other days you catch nothing. I suggest using one of the piers instead--MUCH cheaper and usually people have better luck. The fishing just isn't what it used to be around there...

They have $25 dollar a person boats that leave from the cruise ship area. Do a google search for "fishing party boat Galveston." always good luck with them.
