They look good stuffed in my trophy room. That's why I'd shoot one.

Intresting, I wouldn't think they'd go after goats and lambs but it makes perfect sense.

I'd take one for a trophy maybe, but after that, I'd just let them be, and watch.

I feel the same way about any predators. More predators = healthy vermin population.

I don't mind the taking of nuisance animals, however.

I think bobcats are kind of cool so I can't imagine I'd ever shoot one for no good reason.

I sold furs when I was in high school, and bobcat was the top end in my part of the world. Like NW80 said, they would go anywhere from $100 plus so it was great to get a cat...

We kill them to keep em out of the chicken houses. They have come thru and completely wiped out the laying hens before.

I like my farm raised scrambled eggs a lot more than a bobcat

I dont get the 'Hey thats beautiful so therefore I am going to kill it' either. I have never shot one but would if they were getting after the chickens.

I generally dont shoot what I wont eat. Except for hogs and snakes.

I kill all predators, because I can. I have taken quite a few bobcats over the years and we see MANY more that don't get shot. I have yet to get one mounted, but will when I shoot the right one. Just because people don't see many of them in no way is an indication of the population, they are very plentiful.

Just keep in mind that occasionally royally backfires.

What have you done with the animals after you killed them?

I have never seen one when I had a gun ready. They are fairly rare on our place.

I see more, dead and alive on the roadsides of west San Antonio.

I don't think I would shoot one but I wouldn't get mad at my son if he did. However it would make a good opportunity to discuss hunting ethics with him.

Never shot one and don't plan to. I've seen plenty of them while hunting.

I am a watcher. Let them walk every time.

I'd like to have one good one to put on the wall. After that, I will watch them. I've passed up a couple that just didn't have good enough markings.

I shot one about 9 or 10 years ago because I considered it a trophy at the time. I skinned it, personally tanned the hide, and have had it on display in front of my fireplace since that time.

Since then, I have seen many and I once considered taking one with my bow. After a moment's consideration, I instead decided to shoot him with my camera. They are beautiful animals indeed.

okla, I have two hides tanned and several skulls in the freezer that eventually will be cleaned and made into european mounts. The only one that I have taken that was mount worthy, a stupid friend of my buddy shot her with 00 buck when we were walking up to her. Totally ruined the hide.
