Who did your duck mounts? The Woodie and Hoodie look great. Do you have a close up on the Hoodie?
quote:Thanks! I've kind of jumped around with different taxidermist on my waterfowl mounts. The wood duck was done by Palermo's in Bryan. The bufflehead, pintails, mallard, and redhead were all done by B&B Taxidermy in Houston. I have a cinnamon teal in the freezer right now, but I am probably not going to use B&B, as they just got a new bird guy and they are charging $380, which I think is ridiculous for a duck.

quote:To be quite honest, I couldn't care less what you or anybody else thinks about the picture. You and I both know it has nothing to do with disrespect, so let's not waste our time whining about something that is a non-issue.
It's also taken by other hunters as a sign of disrespect.
quote:Ah, that's a Bufflehead. Always get them and the Hooded Mergansers confused (though, we hardly see either, but more often than not, it's a Hoodie).quote:Thanks!
