MasterAggie,

Why do you want to broadcast on a road? We have had better success the old way. A coffee can drizzling corn out on the road so that they make some time eating it on the way to the "shot".

Most rear end feeders have a broadcast system that spreads corn over a six to eight ft. path, which slows the feeding "path" down.

You might put corn out on the road in a shorter shot. Then I'd get it. However, we feed from farther off, with a less pronounced feed, so the deer keep moving...toward us and the feeders.

Nothing agianst your method, but he hitch feeders put out a lot of corn in wide path.

Old Sarge,

Completely understand where your coming from, however we hunt from the feeder as well as other sendaros. This allows us to hunt in multiple directions at the same time instead of limiting our view to just the feeder.

The tailgate feeder is perfect for this. It spreads the corn wide enough and keeps the deer there longer. It's fast and efficient and exactly what we need for our type of hunting!

Going to use it to spread corn down three "roads" from feeder to about 30 yards from feeder. works well to hold more deer longer.
