I have a pair of Armando's snake boots (he's known for these in South Tx)-similar wait experience but fit great. I also recommend Littles boots in San Antonio and Eddie Kimmel in Comanche.

I got a pair of ML Leddy dark chocolate full quill bottoms, with maroon kangaroo shafts with the university seal on them for my wedding. I love them. I'll post a pic if I can find one.
