I have a Luminox. don't know the model, but I know it is not made anymore. Wife gave it to me as a wedding present in 2001.
It has the stainless case with the black numbered bezel, and rubber wrist band.
The watch itself is probably hands down the toughest watch I have ever had. It has spent considerable time in salt water, been scraped against hard rough objects, slammed into harder ones, and ripped off my wrist in various accidents. Worn daily since I got it. It just keeps going, and the lights still are bright.
The rubber wristband is the weak link. I am on my third one. The rubber "end" keeper loop goes first, then the band splits where the the latch grabs it. A #113 buna o-ring makes a great keeper ring, better than the original.
I would have switched to the velcro closed woven band, but due to friends comments, the smell over time would not be worth it.
I would buy another one, when it's time to.
