I think some of them were removed from everything but our memories, but good luck finding them.

one little trick on trying to resurrect old threads:

if you know specific word combinations, that would likely have been used only in a specific thread for which you are searching, try using google to search those keywords, but add the modifier *inurl:texags.com* -----everything between the asterisks.

of course that trick works for other websites as well.

i used to use it quite often for trying to find stuff on the tceq's website, as their site's search function was completely worthless.

for example if i wanted to find log's write-up on his technique for de-cosmolining soiled gun stocks:

i remember he specifically used the fume free easy off

i would type:

fume free inurl:texags.com

because if i type fume free in google alone, well..., good luck.
but that inurl modifier really helps narrow it down.

FYI, you can also do a google search with "site:texags.com" followed by the search term. I also use google to find old threads on TexAgs a lot and it generally works pretty well.

Does anyone remember specifically why the Doss thread removed?
