Does anyone have an opinion on the "Old Country" brand smokers that are sold at Academy?

i've seen them at academy and they look sturdy and well made, but i've never owned one or known anyone who has.

I am building a pit right now for a gift, so while I was at Academy yesterday I looked over some they had. The only Old Country pit they had out was not in good shape. The first thing I noticed was that the handle was broken off- after looking it was because welds on both ends of the solid bar handle had broken. It looked to be a little heavier steel than some of Academy's other pits, but that one looked to have horrible craftsmanship. Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know. This was at Academy in Temple.
