I'll stop the moment you can point out a single egregious thing in the game that's genuinely politically motivated and tarnishes the quality
I'm not even saying that you're wrong about some titles. There are plenty of cases where a studio introduces politically charged elements to the detriment of the game's quality. This game is not an example of one.
Ok. Gears of War: E-Day. It replaces protagonists Marcus and Dom with an obnoxious girl-boss black female lesbian (and some other girl boss who also might be a lesbian; I can't tell) and also rewrites the lore of the series to completely subvert what was established in the original games. It also features a whole lot of different pride flags and "diversity" flags. In fact, a guy playing on PC got banned from multiplayer for removing the pride flags from his game.
E-Day cost $500 million to develop PLUS at least $200 million for marketing, but more likely $300 million. Video games sell the vast majority of their copies in the first week after release. E-Day came out over 3 weeks ago. As of yesterday, the game has only sold 400,000 copies, there have been 722,000 "premium upgrades" purchased at $30 each, and 1.7 million people have played it on gamepass via subscription. That's ****ing abysmal. BUT, let's just be really generous and pretend that all of those numbers are full game purchases, and that 2.8 million people paid $70 for the game even though it was only a small fraction of that. The result is that the game is currently, at minimum, a HALF BILLION DOLLAR loser and more likely a $600 million loser.
Nobody wants to play a game where the badass male protagonists who have earned a place in our hearts through multiple decades of awesome games and deep character development get tossed aside in favor of lesbian girl bosses. This is objectively a problem. Your refusal to acknowledge it confirms you're just here to push an agenda, not have an honest discussion.
