I am due for an upgrade but I am not going with the Duo. I am sure the Duo is great but I try to avoid first year products like these.

I am going to get a 18 pro.

Preordered the 18 Pro Max for myself and the 18 Pro for my wife. The Duo just doesn't seem like something I'd end up using. Maybe it surprises me, but I doubt it. I did think the iPad was more or less useless until it came out, but ultimately found lots of things to use it for.

It's been a while since I've been in the market for a phone, but why on earth would anyone need 2TB on a phone?

I went with just the 18 Pro.

Upgrading from a 14 pro max, which would still suffice for me. However, when I saw the $1200 trade in value being offered that made it a no brainer to upgrade. Also, going with the slightly smaller screen because I really don't always care for the pro Max's size about a third of the time.

I am now second guessing my decision because I realize how much i like Face ID

May need the Duo for the larger battery just to deal with the iOS27 battery drain. First time the drain has been noticeable to me after a new iOS release. Hope the OS optimizes the battery usage within the next few days

Give me a foldable that, when open, is the same size as the current 18 Pro. This way, when folded, it would be significantly smaller in my pocket. That's what I want!

I don't understand the trade in pricing. If I trade my 15 pro for 18 pro and go with the AT&T carrier plan it's $0 … why? What is the catch. If I do the finance with trade it's $34.54 for 24 months and paid off.

What does the carrier deal make for the company?

They get to sell your old phone for ~$600 and keep you on an expensive post paid plan for the next two years.

I hope to keep my iPhone 18 Pro for 5 years just like I did my iPhone 13 Pro. I ran total cost of ownership for my ATT plan, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Mobile. Including the cost of the phone, US Mobile saves me over $2k over that time span.

It's the term lock in. I think it's like 36 months

They get credits from Apple on the trading while you are locked in for the plan. It is not that hard
