IGN has been publishing quite a bit of 10 ratings recently. I'm skeptical. I wonder if they are now like the entertainment board labeling every new release a masterpiece.

There seems to be a consensus on it being really good. I'm excited to play it tomorrow

Grabbing this today. Sounds like a long game though!

Who'd y'all go with? I started with Cai since his story seemed the most basic. The swordsman guy seemed interesting but maybe I'll save him for last.

Cai down, almost done with Theodora's campaign.

After you finish a Part 1 you can go on to Part 2 for that character. I stopped and went back to Theodora but I'm wondering if I should mix it up, rather than all the 1s then all the 2s.

Finally started this one. Picked Dietrich. His story definitely has an interesting cast of characters starting out. Very quirky

I'm onto my 4th, which is Deitrich. I love this game!

Finished Cai and on to Dietrich. Massive shift in tone.

This is the Fire Emblem game I wanted- it is so good in so many ways!

I'm close to finishing the 4th part-one, about 60 hours in.

Pro tip:
Part 2 is about 8 hours long and is the same for all four characters, minus a few minor cutscenes (ie Cari's reaction to ___ instead of Leda). There are two characters you can only get if you play as Leda or Deitrich and did a particular side quest in chapter 1 (Cai and Theodora don't have it).

So id recommend playing part 2 as Leda or Deitrich, then doing the Skip option to bring the other three to part 3.

Loving part 3 so far, seems like it'll be decently beefy.
