Weird. When I check my library it says it's not out yet.

The remaster is out and is now the default version on Steam. If you owned The Witcher 3 on there you get it for free.

If you're talking about the new Songs of the Past DLC, that is not out yet and I don't think it has an official release date other than 2027 some time.

I kept getting my azz handed to me, but I was on Blood and Broken Bones, which might not be the best setting for a first play all the way through. Stepped down to Normal difficulty and seems better for me.

I am in the middle of my 3rd?? playthrough in Blood and Wine so I am just finishing it out.

Pros:looks great and I like the fighting mechanics.
Cons: I dont like the rework of the skills tree--I am a Euphoria potion/bomb build person and Geralt is super nerfed now. I am having to rework everything for him to be able to tolerate one concoction and a small potion without falling over dead from poisoning. To make matters worse, all my grandmaster armor levels were raised past my level so I cant wear them til I am level 100 and I am 98 1/2.

Anyway, overall happy but I am annoyed by the potion tolerance issue so working on that now.

Alchemy build definitely feels nerfed. I'm going to run a signs build this time around

Yeah the toxicity level is messed up especially if you like deconcotions.

Yeah I am moving back to a sign build since my Griffin armor is my ONLY WITCHER ARMOR I CAN CURRENTLY WEAR RIGHT NOW and then once I level up try potions with Manticore or Viper armor.

They just want you to try Next Game ++ which is naked Geralt for the whole game.

I'm full blown addicted to this like I was my initial playthrough in 2018. I thought the improved visuals would be noticeable, but not this noticeable. Every time I load it up I have to take a second to take in the visuals. Early mornings around Velen looked particularly incredible. Just met up with Triss on my New Game+ playthrough... team red engage.

OK some tips from my 3rd ish play thru and just remaster reading.


1- Hells pit in Velen- apparently added 2022 but new to me. Amazing and hard lvl 12 quest that yields a new gear line. Must do even if just for the ambience and story.

2- found the auto oil and no weight loot. Yes please

3- Blade o the bits (from Dumplings quest in Novigrwd) scales with level as long as you have it in your inventory. Steel weapon set for life.
