This definitely looks interesting. I still remember my early days in Everquest. So much fun exploring learning the world while having to depend on outside maps and just lore from npc's to find and complete quests. Having to sit to regen mana and swap spells made you really plan your pulls and group strategy. Was one of the top 5 raiding Shamen on the original Fennin Ro server for many years. Finally lost interest when they released the Epic 2.0's and jumped to wow after that for a long while. Good times.

This was started by Brad McQuaid (RIP), the original brains behind EQ. I have played Pantheon a little bit (been a backer since 2018) and it is very reminiscent of Everquest. I can't wait to dive in after family time for Christmas is done.

Ah, EQ. Many hours as a kid spent leveling my monk. Only to have him die in Overthere and I had to go on vacation the next day and couldn't get my corpse in time.

Gotta love corpse runs. Always was good to know a necro and buy a soul gem for them when you lost it in a real ****ty place like multiple levels up in the plane of sky/air. Plains raiding was fun.

Guild hall solved that problem though with summons just for platinum via npc's.

I remember grinding out 1k+ AA points to get all the buff extensions, AOE casting, cannibalism etc. Finally getting enough platinum to buy the fastest drog mount drum was a memorable day, same with hitting 300 grandmaster in potions, now that way a hell of a grind. Made lots of plat in the PoK behind the bank selling my combine services.
