The games my son likes to play have finally surpassed the GPU (TI 650) in the old deaktop he is using. Please post any Black Friday or cyber Monday or holiday deals that may be out there. I'm also not opposed to an (additional) MB/CPU upgrade. Current processor is an i7-3770K.

Budget?

From a very quick look at what is modern (compared to what I have) for a GPU, $300ish. I'd spend more if it was a better "deal". MB/CPU upgrade… no idea budget, I have not researched this at all.

ETA: The last time I researched CPU/MB/GPU upgrades, the above components were current. That gives you an idea of how far "out of the loop" I am these days.

If you want to stick right at that budget I'd suggest an Nvidia 4060 along these lines:

Gigabyte RTX 4060

For a tad more you can get something faster with more memory:

Radeon RX 6750XT

If you're streaming use the 4060 because of the encoding. If not that Radeon is great because of the memory.
