My printer ink is not sold anymore. Do I need to buy a new printer or is aftermarket ink OK?

Depends on the printer and how it handles chips on cartridges. Dont update your printer anymore and turn off auto updates if they are on. Brother, HP and others are nazi's when it comes to aftermarket ink and the chips on stuff you can buy are sometimes out of date and will not work.
