Looking for an easy, and cheap solution to stream an event with multiple cameras. Looking at YouTube, Face book or Zoom Meeting.
Seems like the Logitech Mevo system would be easiest with an existing iPad and iPhone (s).
Only issue is that the system needs to be owned by the organization, not me. So this is a Non-profit with little money so it's got to be as easy and cheap as possible.
What I'm doing is live streaming some Soccer Referee Mentoring meetings. While a lot of local people can attend the meetings in person, (which is preferred b/c we do a clinic afterward), a lot of the refs' are in college in fall/spring and cannot drive in for the meetings. So we want to be able to steam to them, but be able to switch between cameras (depending on who is presenting/talking in the room - hard to explain but 2 cameras would be much better than one).
The Mevo set up can be run from an iMac (I'm seeing that you cannot LiveSteam from you phone on YouTube without 50 subscribers or even 1000 - it's a safety set up on YouTube) but you can from a PC/Mac with less than 50 subscribers) and just link to a few phones in the room. However, that would depend on me and at least one other person using our phones to make it work and a laptop and I won't always be able to attend.
Sound is also a concern. Camera/Phone mic's don't always pick up sound for example if someone is across the conf. room talking the phone may not pick it up. I know that there is no thing more frustrating that being in a meeting, or watching a live stream and not being able to hear.
