I use the normal wired Apple ones, usually.

They seem to work fairly well, but some people have issues hearing me. (They work much better for me than AirPods)

I really need something fairly comfortable to talk on, with as good a sound quality as possible.

Ideally Bluetooth.

Any suggestions?

Looks really don't matter. We don't really do zoom calls that much/I will set up a "proper" mic/camera etc if I start doing much of that.

ModMic wireless for the mic would be my suggestion. Can mount it to any wireless headphones of your choosing

Look at Jabra or Poly.

We usually sell Poly (formerly Plantronics) for all of our installs who need headsets. They are definitely usually the priciest options, but are second to none on voice quality. From my perspective, there's not much money in headsets, so I will only sell ones I know to work well without getting inundated with support phone calls.

Jabra can usually come a little under Poly and also usually work well.

Also, keep in mind that many places you get those headsets from off Amazon are not true resellers, so you may encounter issues with headsets bought there.

At the end of the day, any Bluetooth option with a mic will work, but I recommend listening to how you sound before thinking it's a good solution. I have people all the time who think their $30 bluetooth headset works great, but I think they sound like crap. If it's for business use, I personally want to sound clear every time I speak with a customer as a matter of professionalism. Granted, I'm in the telecom/IT space, so I have to sound good or I have to explain why the solution I'm quoting sounds bad to them.

I've been using the Poly / Voyager 6200UC set for years, they work great with Teams and can pair with your phone at the same time. Mute button works well. I'll say they are fairly fragile, and if you have a cat that likes to chew cords, don't leave them out. About $140 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Poly-Voyager-6200-USB-Compatible/dp/B0799JTW7L?th=1

I've had good luck with my Anker PowerConference H700 headset. It comes with a wireless USB adapter and a charging stand and is able to be connected to both your computer via the USB adapter and your phone via Bluetooth at the same time. I also bought an extra USB dongle and charging stand so I can keep one set up at home and keep one in my bag since I have an office in multiple locations.

I just started a separate thread on Bowers and Wilkins. I have a home studio and am subbing in great headphones for studio monitors. I have been using some old B&W headphones but just got some PX8s and am blown away.I know they're a pricey can, but I've heard the PX7s2 (or whatever it is) is a solid comparison.

A lot of it depends on your need. I do as close to no-post, raw audio as I can and want to hear every detail.

Honestly, I got suckered into the whole - it was good enough for the Beatles… That said, since then, I haven't heard anything better.
