HELP: Looking for a Management Point of Contact with Ticketmaster

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I am currently dealing with a situation with Ticketmaster where I could really use some support from someone with a management position within Ticketmaster. The short story is that I called a dedicated phone number last week for an event in Arlington, confimed the purchase of tickets for the event while on the phone several times, and was informed that I would receive a confirmation email within about 15 minutes after ending the conversation. Three days later I receive the confirmatory email but to my shock/dismay, the tickets reflected in the email were for a concert almost 2 months earlier in a different city and state (Birmingham, Alabama) for the same performer. In addition, it appears to me the price/seat for the two different locations are different, and I was actually charged for the Arlington event. It is a totally botched situation and am still waiting for a response from Ticketmaster after exchanging a number of emails with lower-tier representatives. The other unfortunate situation is that Ticketmaster no longer has an active phone number for Customer Support and apparently only works through their Help forum online. Hence, any points of contact would be much appreciated.

Try Twitter or Facebook. I hate the online help system and would prefer to talk to a real person as well, but it seems to actually get more results these days

I had pinged Ticketmaster directly on Twitter and Facebook previously. I actually emailed their Senior Vice President over Global Fan Experience and copied the director beneath him earlier this evening. I'll see if I get a response.

Let me know if you get a response - same thing just happened to us. Was online buying tix for one of the George Strait shows at Dickies and after the transaction closed we were sent 2 tickets for the show in Kansas City in July.

Now we have a $700+ charge on the American Express and no tickets to the show in Fort Worth - very frustrating.

Any tips on how we can connect with TM to fix this would be great - feel free to DM me if you'd prefer.

Thanks!

Never been a fan of Ticketmaster

A friend bought tickets to the George and Willie show in Austin last weekend. He claims the orientation of the stage changed between the time he bought tickets and the night of the show. He said all he could see was Willie's backside

So you have an order confirmation email from Ticketmaster for the George Strait show in KC, or the order confirmation is for Fort Worth but the tickets in your Ticketmaster account are for KC?

And the confirmation email is an email from

Ticketmaster <customer_support@email.ticketmaster.com> with the subject "You Got Tickets To George Strait" ?

I only ask because often times people think they are buying from Ticketmaster or the "box office" when they are actually buying from some shady site disguised to look like the official site.

Oh yes- I know exactly what you are talking about. We were buying through the American Express pre-sale on the Ticketmaster website. Email is from Ticketmaster with George Strait picture on it.
