How long do you want to ignore this user?
Is anyone successful in ripping 4K movies? On my htpc, I've got a LG WH14ns40 internal BD-RE and I'm looking to improve my streaming quality on my home network since I just upgraded several TVs. I also rolled back my driver to a previous version v1.02 to see if that would work and no go; right now the disk drive does not recognize a 4K disc when inserted

Any feedback is appreciated

4K discs are Ultra HD Blu-Ray. The drive you have does not appear to support that...

Just watch porn in 1080p like everyone else. No need for the detailed pimples on her ass.

A friend told me that once you go VR you don't go back.

MakeMKV and read the forums to find a drive that will work with 4k

Have you considered just converting everything to LaserDisc?

I'm doing dvdfab and rolled back my drivers as per feedback seen online but still can't get it to work

Wait, you're still trying to get this to work? What you are doing is equivalent to trying to play a DVD in a CD drive. The formats are physically incompatible. No amount of driver changes will help. You need to get hardware capable of reading Ultra HD Blu-Ray discs.
