Anyone own one and if so, do you like the brand you bought? Lots of competition in this space and trying to narrow down what I want.

Looking to put in the middle of my home office and have the ability to stand but majority of the time will be sitting but prefer to be higher up (i'm tall).

One i'm leaning towards now is this 72x30 commercial version of this:

I got an uplift and really like it.

I got the one with the cutout and it's nice. I use a large monitoring so it just sits on the desk which takes up a lot of room but it's still really well made, easy to put together, and a great product. I would say don't buy the cable management system(s). You could easily do the same thing with zip ties.

XDesk (was once called NextDesk before getting sued). Georgetown, TX company. I love mine.

I have one on top of an existing desk. I love it a lot.

Most of the desk ones are just tables - they have zero drawers in them (at least, every one I have ever seen).

My job was not going to buy an entire desk, but I did get them to buy this: https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/427421/Lorell-Electric-Sit-To-Stand-Desk/

It is electric. I like that, because some of these risers require to to manually move the unit up and down. I have had it just over 2 months. It's pretty good.

It seems to be on sale compared to when mine was ordered as well.

I have an uplift desk at work, and also one at home. The one at home has the memory for up to 4 heights. You hit the memory button and it adjusts to your selected height, which was previously stored. The one I have at home has the bamboo top. I got it off craigslist, from a guy, who lists them frequently, so I think he works there and sells off the one they allow him to buy every so often.

Uplift desk here in Austin, has a showroom, and they sell scratch and dent tops for cheaper, so that is one route you may want to look at. I love mine. I stand about half the workday, on average.

This is similar to what we got at my office last year. I would much prefer a full rising desk over just the rising tabletop computer stand I have. Having my computer at one level and everything on my desk a foot lower is just annoying. If you use paper and other items regularly while on the computer I would highly recommend going with a full riser desk.

Eta: still better than not being able to stand at all though. So if full desk isn't an option I'd still try out a tabletop

Well, most of the full desks I have seen have the keyboard at the same level as the monitor. There is no keyboard stand on all the rising desks I have seen

But yes, I do have to sit down and work on the lower desk when messing with papers. But, it is fine. It breaks up the standing, which can also bother your back if you stay in 1 place too long (standing).

I wanted the Versa desk, but I was told itw as too expensive. Also, I wanted an electric one. In the end, I am happy with what I have.

Here is a picture of the uplift I have.

I got the biggest bamboo tabletop they make and it's got lots of room for paper and what not, imo.

Sorry about my lunch being in the picture.

I have a manually adjustable set of legs with a custom top, but I just leave it at standing position 99% of the time. I have a tall chair for when I need to sit down.

I have a 72x30 Uplift desk with bamboo top. Had it about 4 years now and love it. It has the 4 button memory control. I got it with 3 grommet holes, the advanced wire management kit (basically just zip ties), keyboard tray, CPU holder (that I use for my UPS battery backup), modesty panel (which works great for holding all the cables I have for various things sitting behind my monitors, such as router, NAS, smartthings hub, netgear hub, etc.), and the half circle desk drawer (the only thing I don't actually use).
