Love SAAB, still one of my all time favorite military science fiction shows. I don't remember all the details. But when they were transporting the mock ups for the pilot they attracted the attention of some Russians from a merchant vessel thinking it was a new fighter and proceeded to snap quite a few pictures.

It's not my favorite but I always liked the 50s retro style of the Ajax.



The Space Battleship Yamato is still my all-time favorite though.
