Downloaded it on launch day but haven;t invested too much time in it yet. Haven't even finished training tbh. I'll play around with it and see how it is. I like the real time aspect of it, but it seems very "pay to win".

I recommend saving gems for buying chests from store or opening big ones you find. Also, there's a clan I'm in called Aggie Farmers full of a bunch of Aggies you can join. Just say class year in app.

Clans allow you to receive donated troops and also donate. It s a mutually beneficial system. In addition to that you can do friendly battles with clan mates and share strategies.
I joined the South TX Aggies clan since most I the clans suggested were pretty much full. We are open and have plenty of room.

What's the point of getting "troops" if you have the card? Does it give a higher level card, temporarily?

Had some guy I beat in a battle follow last night, not sure if he stuck around yet or not.

The chests are in a set order. Crown kills don't affect drops.

what is perplexing to me, is I've seen a whopping 1 giant chest - everything else is either gold or silver.
and I'm beyond sick of getting cannon cards - have 96 of em. don't use cannon, so I don't want to upgrade and burn up the gold.

I bounce between 1100 and 1250 trophies...still getting lousy bonus.
I just beat someone whose screen name was sh****bevo. Shorthorns getting beat down in EVERYTHING this week.
Does anyone else have an issue when starting the app where it'll get stuck at 50% and not load? This has happened to me since day 1 and usually closing the app and restarting fixes it. But today nothing I'd working for me.
Turning off the wifi did help, but I'm only 20 feet from the WAP so I know that's not the issue. I said in game that I believe some games are designed to run only on mobile data to rack up data charges sometimes. I know, I know "take off the tin foil hat mr. conspiracy theorist" Just a hypothesis of mine.
