I have purchased this game and will soon be creating an account. (Most likely tomorrow).

I was thinking a Nightblade (because I'm a terrible Tank character), but Im open to any of the sub-classes. Any recommendations or need?

Or any advice on whether I should roll another class?

Running a destruction staff/lightning combo on my first staff with Daedric Summoning/Healing on my second staff. My clannfear is getting pretty powerful and there is an upgrade to the curse that lets it trigger in 3 seconds and it is powerful. I threw my lightning AOE into that second staff slot so I could work on getting my healing and daedric summoning up and that with the curse and a summon is wrecking shop. Dropping the auroch is just mean on the puny mobs.

I really did not like the dark control tree except for crystal shard on the mage. Most of the spells did nothing against bosses and were pretty much useless even in a group. Respec'd as soon as I got the chance. Level 22 now.

Just sold my first vampire bite for 20k. They are definitely in high demand.

Thanks I have played a bit with 3 or 4 characters just getting a feel for game mechanics and trying to figure out how I want to play. I began a new character last night, Khajeet Nightblade - Daggerfall Alliance

So I'm a Templat Orc. Through level 28 or so my play has leaned to Two Hand/Destruction Staff and Heavy Armor.

My son (12) is trying to convince me that might race and class are in conflict. Is he right?

I stopped playing. I didn't get to level 10 before getting bored. Probably no chance of me going back if I pick up the Handsome Collection at 30 bucks this weekend.
