6 month bump

This game had a hell of a run. They announced this week the game will be shut down in January 2025. In game purchases have been disabled, and it will be removed from the App Store in October.

Spend your pink donuts while you can. Twelve years is a pretty solid run

Had totally forgotten about this game. Was fun for a while!

I was still playing, but my town was a mess. I played every day and completed all quests, so I had tons of characters and buildings. It was taking forever to load, and was pretty l****. If I had to guess maintaining all that data was approaching a point of diminishing returns.

It was a well done game that was true to the satire of the TV show. It was even self-deprecating at times.

After over a decade of playing, I was asking myself how much longer I was going to play. I guess I don't have to answer that now.

I never played, but it does make me sad there won't be any Simpsons games on the market. I realize The Simpsons aren't what they used to be, but I still think there is a great Simpsons game out there waiting for someone to make it.
