Stasco, based on the number of 32" waist Android users on this thread alone, I'd have to say that's definitely a picture of an Android user.

I have a GS3 in a fairly bulky case in my pocket now sitting at my desk and I can't even tell it's there.

To each his own, but I have a feeling Apple's going to find that they sell way more of the larger sized phones. And I bet all those folks who said the Android phones were "disgustingly big" and "couldn't fit in a pocket" will magically start to disappear once it's no longer an Apple vs. Android excuse.

I don't really care either way. We have iPhone ATV (and I'm buying my wife an iPad for her b-day next month) as well as several Android devices. Both are good, and you can choose what you like, but "too big for a pocket" doesn't hold any water at all.

Sorry for derail, but curious why you wouldn't want to root. Using the Unified Toolkit over at XDA couldn't be any easier. Takes all of 15 minutes from start of download to finish and is completely idiot-proof. Also has tools to unroot, flash ROMs/kernals/radios, and lots of other stuff. Use Titanium Backup to backup and remove all the bloatware and you can always go back.

If you do ever do it, I'd recommend donating $5 or whatever you want to the dev to get the Donor version with auto updates.

Did the androids ever lose their cheap ways and figure out how to use real glass?

The GS3 and GS4 both have Corning Gorilla Glass, so I guess Samsung did at least.

Some type of fancy glass on the N4 as well. Also seems to be coated in the slickest endangered sea lion snot available.

I'll never sacrifice one hand usage on my phone.

I have the hands of a carnie and I don't have any problems using a 4.7 inch screen one-handed.

I can fit my 7" Nexus 7 in my pocket.

Perhaps midgets and children might have problems with a 5" phone but an adult shouldn't.
