Not many attractive waiver options from week one, IMO. A lot of people talking about DeVaughn Vele, he is a career JAG, but should see a nice role until Jodryn Tyson become healthy.

Obviously grab Coker or Deebo if they are somehow out there.

WR: I think Caleb Douglas is worth considering. Not sure what to make of Kendrick Bourne or Kaliff Raymond. I think id pass on Raymond as im betting Burden and Odunze where still being eased back in from injuries.

In deeper leagues (14 team) Mack Hollins is probably a good add.

TE: deeper league maybe Sadiq. Gesiecke i expect to disappear if Chase gets healthy.

DEF: last week proved good matchup way more valuable then a top defense. On that theme Bucs should be a top add as they play the browns. 49ers, chargers and then Carolina (vs atlanta) as others to consider.

How about rolling with the Steelers defense another week vs an underwhelming Patriots offense without AJ Brown?

I think it is a decent play. What I dont like is thay I expect the NE defense to shut down a bad Pit offense. They scored 13 points against a eh Falcons defense (defense TD got them to 20). I worry that might be too many opportunities for a team desperate for a win to put up points.

I dont know why people slept on the Cardinals offense. You dont want to start a streamer defense against them.

the cowboys #2 RB and javonte williams handcuff, malik davis, went on IR for ROS, making demarcado the new cowboys #2, not owned in most leagues. might be worth picking up the handcuff in deeper 12-14 team leagues, especially if you're the javonte owner.

I drafted last in 12 team league so start the season with #1 waiver priority... zero glaring options after week 1 though... think I'll let it ride for another week or two.

Kaelon Black, Caleb Douglas or Emmitt Johnson are my 3 targets. Bourne and Kalif are traps. I also am looking at trading Tet McMillan who is my 3rd receiver in a 2 wr 1 flex league.

If you're looking at streaming a defense, look at the Chiefs. They did a number on Denver last night, have the so-so Colts coming to Arrowhead this weekend then road trips to the Dolphins and Raiders before their bye

I'm having a hard time starting Burrow this weekend against a (hopefully) pissed off Texans defense. I know, don't bench the stud (Josh Allen) regardless of who the defense is.

Burrow is no Josh Allen. My alternative is Baker Mayfield. Issue there is Tampa may turn it into a laugher early and just run it the entire second half. What say you guys?

Really like that squad in a 12 teamer.

I have Hampton and am currently worried he just might not get the usage. No pass catching work is worrisome.

The whole game felt weird so I'm not super concern yet. If it continues the next two weeks then that's another story.

I am absolutely kicking myself that I passed on Ashton Jeanty and Kenneth Walker to draft him. Jeanty had just gotten hurt and there wasn't any news about the severity so I passed. If he wasn't hurt though I don't think he would've made it to me anyways.

This is a debate I'm having with myself right now. I'm horribly thin at RB and WR both, and just lost Stribling for at least a month. There is no IR stash in my league. My QBs are a very fragile Joe Burrow and Baker Mayfield. Do I dump Mayfield for some RB or WR depth? I have Juwan Johnson as TE2 but have a feeling I may actually be flexing him here and there so hate to let him go.

Depends on how many teams are in the league and bench spots. We only have 5 bench spots in our league and it's a 12 team so a lot of roster movement happens through waivers and free agency. I personally would much rather try to carry a high upside handcuff or a stash player than an extra QB because there are guys available. If we had 7-8 bench spots I'd carry two. Once you get past the elite QBs it really flattens out.

Who I had in mind, and y'all tell me if I'm crazy, is Kaytron Allen. Bill Croskey is serviceable but unspectacular, and he fumbled in the 4th qtr of the game Sunday. And every carry went to Allen off the bench after that fumble. I suspect a short leash. And I don't think Rachaad is the answer either. Plus Allen carries keeper potential in my one-keeper league. Too big a reach?

Btw it's 7 bench spots. And I'm not letting Stribling go. No way. My other WR are too weak.

wow....I'm in a random yahoo public league, and someone dropped Maye to get B Young. I already have Burrow and Dart.

Either drop Dart or, if you have the bench space to play keepaway from the rest of the league……..
