Assuming ESPN tracker is correct, Rodgers is now tied with P Manning on all time TD passes in the #3 spot. No chance of passing Brees or Brady, but still passing Manning to get the #3 is a pretty big accomplishment. I wonder if that factored into coming back this year.

I agree with you. I don't recall any NFL coach that goes for it on 4th down as much as Campbell.

and it's not just him. I've seen more lame brained coaching decisions this year than ever. NFL and college both. Look no further than Kyle Field for numerous examples. Coaches have lost their common sense and replaced it with analytics on a spreadsheet.
The 49ers and the Chiefs both suffered their first losses of the season, and the 6-0 Vikings are the only remaining undefeated team.

I think it's interesting that he keeps doing it even after getting burned on it pretty badly in the NFC championship against SF a couple of years ago.

Im wandering if the Chiefs trade for a WR this week. They wont be a contender without a guy who can be a go to guy for Mahomes. My bet is Garrett wilson

Tomlin explained this a bit during SNF
Basically that's a call based on the high-level QB play of Jordan Love and the crappy DET defense.
If they kick it there they give the ball right back to Jordan Love and he probably marches it down field eating up the clock and they never get the ball back.
If they go for it and convert then great.
If they go for it and miss then yeah GB may score but they're already on the 25 yard line so they can't eat clock. At least now you get the ball in your offenses hands with more time to answer.
It's playing to your teams strengths and basically the worst-case scenario is it increases the likelihood of you having the last possession.

Which playoff contender needs a RB? All the top teams seem pretty stacked in that department. So barring injury i doubt they get any offers. Maybe the vikings.

I love Big Jeff. Dude is a monster. However, 2 firsts and a 4th for a 29 year old DT seems like an overpay. Titans made the smart move even if it pisses some of the fan base off.
