Purpose of this thread is to discuss games or teams outside of the two main teams. This isn't intended to be a FF thread.

Worst team in the NFL contenders:
Titans: They can't do anything on offense against a Jets defense that has been traded for picks. Then they managed to make Geno Smith look functional.
Browns: i think the defense might have decided to throw in the towel in week 1 instead of fighting and being good for 10 weeks. Watson is awful. Their defense should keep them out of the worst record.
Miami: they got beat handily by the raiders. Their defense should be one of the if not the worst in the NFL. That said if any offense gets better I think it will be this one.

Honorable mentions: Falcons and Steelers. One team had to win. Both offense played poorly. If Bijan goes down Falcons move in to the real worst team contenders.

Best Team:
Well 1 week in and it may not be the Rams. Garrett went to the IR. Still harder to tell elite teams from 1 week then it is the dumpster fires.

Things to watch:
1. Will the Bears set the scoring record? Will the bears have a key player injured when they are up big trying to score?
2.

My favorite thing from Week 1 is that Brian Flores calls defenses like he's playing the CPU on rookie difficulty in Madden. Just blitz every down.

That might be one of the worst blown calls in recent memory for the NFL. Mike P just explained why no one should trust his takes ever again. Double whammy.

Hard to say he isn't. He is top ten in rushing yards, top ten amongst RBs in yards per carry, and doing it in an age where workhorse RBs are less and less common. His numbers would be even crazier if Tennessee had been smart enough to use him as a full time player early in his career.

He does have the benefit of playing with one of the best dual-threat QBs of all time, but his numbers are still crazy, he is huge for an RB, and he just looks like a freak out there.

Josh will end up being top 15 by the end of this season,. And most likely ends up finishing his career in the top 5 rushing td's ever.

I agree Henry is in discussion. Though he plays with Lamar now, before that his qb support wasnt that good.

Even before playing w Lamar, he put up a 2k rushing yard season in Tennessee.

Who else thinks that Jacobs went to great lengths to keep the NFL from getting their hands on the video evidence. I hope the NFL takes the exgf's attempt to protect her privacy as a sign that Jacobs paid her off to seal it so they couldn't see it. I hope he gets a full year ban.

If it's as bad as it seems based on the lengths he's gone to keep this form getting out he may get the Ray Rice treatment.

It's funny that when I look at that list, and I think, "no".

Probably not for any sound reasoning, but I think for many of us olds, you mentally lock in who the greatest Running Back is, and it's probably someone you watched when you were 10 years old or a young teenager. And you probably a a reverence for guys just a little bit older than your favorite guy that were talked about when you were younger, so you keep them old guys all ranked high.


So mentally, I'm thinking Walter Payton, OJ, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, Emmitt, Eric Dickerson, and I am guessing that my mental inventory is a really skewed.

the GOAT is emmitt smith and it really isn't even close

Henry is just a horse in an era of non running games and small lbers and safeties
