John Harbaugh outcoached Brian Schottenheimer in his debut as the Giants head coach. The Giants have defeated the Cowboys in back-to-back games, winning 34-17 in last season's Week 18 finale and 28-20 today for a combined margin of 62-37.

Christian Parker getting blasted... having our starters playing grab ass all preseason getting blasted... our stars on offense not making the big plays getting blasted.

It's as Fugly as you would think it should be.

Everyone's starters play grab ass in the preseason and this was literally the worst opening weekend for defenses in the history of the sport in terms of points and yards. So I guess I don't get that criticism being uniquely levied at him.

Worst debut for a defensive coordinator Ive ever seen. We heard so much hype from the media, players, and coaching staff about CP and the defense.

Hell at this point i'd bring back Rob Ryan. The dude at least provided some stops and gave us some funny moments on the sidelines.

Another terrible jason Garrett decision. Garrett probably got rid of him because he was fat, sweared a lot, and wasn't the family friendly type guy.

I still think jason garrett or jeff banister with the rangers could either go down as the worst coaches in dfw history.

Actually i'll say Chan Gailey was worse than both of them because he's the reason we didn't draft Randy Moss who really wanted to be a cowboy and made us pay dearly for passing on him.

Its a little bit of PTSD from last year and all the hype we've been hearing all offseason from the media. It was just really disappointing to see that nothing is fixed

Guy just came out of nowhere and made a comment about race and our new D coordinator.

Sounds like he's done this before (according to others) and is above the law. I told a racist joke one time on TexAgs. Got myself my one and only ban for two weeks or a month I think. It was meant purely as comedy... Staff did NOT think it was funny.

You spelled Michael Irvin wrong. Chan Gailey had zero input on drafting anyone. That was all on JJ and JJ only. Irvin made Randy Moss untouchable to the Dallas fanbase and media, since they wanted the team to be Landry-esque.

HSO, Moss would have gone off the rails here. Irvin was still the alpha dog here and wasn't going to let Moss be anything close to what Minnesota did. Plus, we still had Emmitt and he was the focal point of the entire offense. Moss admitted he took plays off that weren't going to be pass plays because he hated blocking.

Another season of not watching the Cowboys suck.

I know it sounds cruel but the only hope for this franchise is that after Jerry dies the son either sells the team or admits he doesn't know what he's doing anymore than his dad did and hires a real GM

I'm afraid we are in for generations of morons. I don't see Stephen running this much differently - right now Will McClay runs the draft/personnel (and has been good overall), but Stephen handles the contracts and cap. Most of the contract idiocy has largely been his doing. Then John Stephen Jones is the likely heir on waiting after Stephen.

Cowboy fans will never see a change if they keep filling the stadium and buying all the Cowboy merchandise. The Jones don't have a reason to change. It's insane to think the Cowboys last Super Bowl was in '95. I bet a good majority of Aggies on here weren't alive. Too storied a franchise for the product. Cowboy fans are loyal to a fault.
